In the UK, investment advice is strictly regulated.

In common with many firms of accountants Peter Brown and Co has limited authorisation from the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants in this area. The firm has good working relationships with Independent Financial Advisors who are companies with a good reputation and are fully authorised under the system of regulation.

Peter Brown & Co would be happy to effect an introduction to them, in accordance with an agreement for referrals in a form acceptable to the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants. Amongst other things, this obliges us to inform our clients of any commission we earn, with an encouragement to share this commission with our clients. It is our normal practice to only retain that part of any commission which is needed to cover our costs, with the balance being rebated to the client.

Peter Brown & Co offers no investment advice on this website, but is happy to supply clients on request with relevant extracts from the professional briefings of our contacts, with their consent, who are entirely responsible for their content.
